Our precise scanning (digitizing) process captures a physical object's high-density geometry and compound surface curvature that are difficult to measure using traditional techniques. Using our 7-axis, contact/non-contact measuring devices with fully integrated laser line probes and specialized software, we collect data as thousands of points that create point cloud files. The point cloud data is then interpolated and used to generate highly accurate 3-D CAD models of the physical object for a variety of applications including reverse engineering, rapid prototyping & product inspection. In addition to laser scanning, we support white light scanning for certain 3D digitizing and metrological applications. White light scanners use ultra-high resolution optical imaging to triangulate points from multiple locations. By comparing millions of pixels, this process can produce a more precise point cloud with better definition of subtle edge features.
