Profile: 4PI Analysis, Inc. specializes in EDX detectors, X-ray microanalyses and digital imaging systems. Our product line includes revolution EDX, SEM and TEM. Our universal spectral engine® is developed and manufactured by 4pi. The "back-end" electronics of all systems is a stand-alone unit with a small footprint (8.5" x 16.5" x 19"). The unit contains a digital pulse processor, digital image acquisition and scan-control hardware, and ethernet interface. The universal spectral engine interfaces to any windows or macintosh computer that has an ethernet port. Our hydro spectral imaging system is featured with re-sizable windows for live display of all images, with a selectable pixel depth (8- or 16-bit) color maps. It is adjusted to its brightness & contrast adjustment with histogram display. It is featured with giga bite networking for local or remote operation. The networking systems is equipped with a maximum pixel spectrum which detects the rare elemental components like X-ray spectra, and maps with principal component analysis.
