Our AC protection Surge blox&trade modules are offered in a patented circuit design and assembly to provide optimal surge suppression solutions. Per phase, modules may be installed individually or vertically stacked to upgrade protection. Surge blox panels are available in a variety of service voltages and enclosure sizes & are the ideal choice for AC service entrance & distribution panel suppression. The surge blox design utilizes silicon avalanche diodes (SADs) and/or metal oxide varistors (MOVs) in easy to replace & upgrade modular designs. SAD and MOV modules are independently alarmed & MOV components are individually thermal fused for reliable protection. Green and red LEDs provide visual verification of protection status. Our multiport series incorporates reliable SAD/gas tube protection into an upgradeable/serviceable design. Multiport series is available with 4, 5, or 6 T-1 suppression circuits utilizing SAD and gas tube on each circuit. The 4 and 5 circuit models are field-upgradeable to 6 circuits, allowing customers to quickly expand capacity at sites by inserting additional modules.
