Profile: ADL Insulflex, Inc. offers heat resistant materials. We provide non-asbestos and industrial heat protection materials. Our products include fire sleeves, heat resistant tapes, fire blankets, high temperature sealants, custom fabrication and high temperature ropes. Our Insulflex® heat resistant fire sleeves protect hoses, lines, cables and wires. Cool Blue™ fire sleeve is designed with extra-thick, braided high-bulk glass fiber to protect the personnel from hot hoses & piping, while reducing the heat energy losses. This high temperature sleeve is designed to provide the personnel with effective protection against burns from flexible steam lines and hot hoses. Heat transfer through the fire sleeve is gently dissipated, so that it remains friendly to human touch even at elevated temperatures. It can be used to bundle groups of hot hoses/tubes. This fire sleeve can typically be installed on hose assemblies operating up to 600°F. Our Pyrotape® is a knitted high bulk glass fiber tape, heavily coated with our proprietary compound of iron oxide red silicone rubber. The specially designed compound sheds molten metal splash immediately, so that very little heat transfer occurs. It can withstand repeated exposures to molten steel, molten aluminum and molten glass, up to 3000°F. We also offer heat resistant fabrics and high-temperature fire blankets for all severe heat environments. Our Pyroblanket™ is a light weight, high temperature resistant fabric, designed to shed weld spatter and resist high heat & occasional flame. It is constructed from a glass fiber base fabric, impregnated on both sides with a tough, specially compounded silicone rubber coating.
