It increases machine capability, improves efficiency and eliminates secondary processes. Ram-Tap is a punch press lead screw tapper. This cam-driven lead screw tapper is designed for the automatic tapping of holes up to 1/2" in diameter and up to 6 holes per stroke with a special multi-spindle cartridge. Ram-Tap is driven by the vertical stroke of the punch press and can be installed in most presses.
