Profile: A.L. Design, Inc. manufactures load cells, pressure transducers and digital indicators. We make load cells with ranges of as low as 1 or 2 gram capacity and high ranges up to 2 or 5 million lbs. capacity. We offer high temperature options of 450 deg. F. All the load cells are available with a waterproofing option, so they can be used under water. Our load cells are used to measure static & dynamic loads with high frequency vibration testing option. ALD-SMTI is a single channel strain gage transducer amplifier and digital indicator with a 4½ digit display. It features coarse, fine zero, and span adjustments, and 100 to 1000 gain adjustment range for either foil or semiconductor strain gage transducers. The decimal point is factory set, but adjustable with an internal jumper.
