Profile: Abwood Machine Tools is a manufacturer of machine tools. Our machine tools are mainly used in glass and silicon grinding applications. We provide grinding machines for manufacturing solar and semi-conductor silicon wafers. Our photovoltaic products are used in the development of twin spindle surface grinders for multi-crystalline silicon. It has features like twin spindle design for reduced cycle time, side face & chamfer grinding in one process, synthetic granitan base for improved thermal stability, dimensional accuracy & surface finish, full CNC control system, integrated laser measuring system for in-process component inspection and dedicated loading system to maximize cutting time. TS5 is one of our photovoltaic product used in the grinding process for mono-crystalline silicon ingots. It has features like self adjusting, dedicated loading system and option for conveyor feed for integration into existing automation. We also offer machine subcontracting services.
