Profile: Adcera Corporation is engaged in advanced ceramic technology. We manufacture technical & industrial ceramics in various high purity materials like alumina, zirconia and titania. Our production equipment comprises of PLC presses (for better dimensional accuracy), extruders, injection moulding machines, isostatic presses and microprocessor controlled high temperature kilns, grinding, lapping & polishing machines. Various testing equipment is installed to supply products for demanding applications like chemical seal faces, ceramic thread guides, wire drawing parts, boiler igniters ferrules and welding nozzles choke-beans. Ceramic is commonly used as a mating ring together with carbob-graphite opposite a seal face in mechanical seal kits, which in turn are used in chemical pump applications. Alumina is suitable for chemical seal faces. They are used in corrosive environments like acids including hydro fluroic acids, molten salt solutions and mild to medium alkaline solutions. Our chemical seal faces are manufactured in various sizes and shapes, like DA type, L type & T type. They are lapped within 20 micron surface finish and polished within 2 light bands & ground to finish sizes, as per the customers' requirements.
