Our range of sensors include hot metal detectors (HMDs), remote hot metal detectors utilizing optic lead technology, scanning HMDs, optical position scanners (looper), barrier lasers, retro & diffuse laser detectors and remote head barrier photocells. Digital optical position scanner features solid state digital design utilizing microprocessor technology. It determines relative bar position via internal fiber optic block & multiplexed scanned InGaAs photodiode array. The scanner includes a LED array display of product pass line for correct alignment, analog output for product position, robust IP66 aluminum housing with water cooling chamber & separate air purging and digital outputs for product presence. It monitors hot product down to 400°C regardless of product size and automatic gain operates via edge control margin evaluation.
