The DSG performs a battery of critical dimensional and weight measurements, in one unit. This system can be configured to work either in the laboratory, or as part of a sampling line on the production floor. The Multi Star system is a multi-function inspection station that performs a host of critical inspections in one operation, at production speeds providing pertinent cavity-correlated inspection data. The on-line thickness selector (OLT) accurately and precisely measures the wall thickness of glass containers at production speeds. The OLT offers economical pass/fail measurement and accommodates a variety of different container shapes & sizes. The non-round on-line thickness selector (NROLT) is a complete testing station that performs thickness inspection on lines producing both round and non-round ware. The NROLT monitors the containers for thin spots and critical sidewall thickness deficiencies.
