Our model 10-S aircraft tug has a throttle grip control system that utilizes a hydrostatic transmission, electric starter and a heavy duty variable speed engine. It has a return to brake feature that absolutely prevents any unintentional movement of the plane when the throttle grip is released. There is no metal to metal contact, no gears to shift and no jerky clutching systems to quickly wear out. Its pinpoint handling makes this unit a great choice. It has 11 gauge heavy steel frame, hydrostatic transaxle, recoil engine and drive wheels capable of handling nosewheel weights up to 2000 lbs. We also provide upgrades for this aircraft tug that includes snow chains, night light kit, nosewheel fairing chock, tailwheel chock scott, air load hook, long control kit, and weight pack extra traction for light nose aircraft. Our 10-H model is the tug of choice for those who need to lower the tail to enter a hangar, and might also need to handle nose-wheel fairing aircraft; the nose-wheel is loaded as in the model 10-S, and then it is raised, by a hydraulic jack up, as much as needed to a maximum of roughly 9″, thus lowering the tail by approximately double the amount. It has a 2 ton hydraulic jack for lift shoe. Our battery maintainer low amp float ensures amp hours correlate to battery and for the full battery charge. This pro-longs battery life and ensures that the aircraft tug is always ready for operation.
