Profile: Alloys & Components, Southwest specializes in hydraulic hardware. Our products include chrome rods, cylinder tubes, bronze/aluminum bars, alloy bars and mechanical tubes. Our continuous cast bronze bars are solid bars with a diameter of 3/8" to 8". They have a tensile strength of 35,000 psi and yield strength of 20,000 psi. The induction hard chrome plated bar has C1045 as the base material, and is hardened to 50-60 on the Rockwall C scale.
