Profile: Altaflo is a producer of fluoropolymer and fluoroplastic tubing & pipes. We carry a broad range of products in PTFE, FEP, PFA, UHP, PFA, PVDF, and THV materials. We also produce custom items from these and other fluoropolymer or fluoroplastic resins to meet the requirements. Altafluor 500® PVDF is an abrasion and temperature resistance product. Altafluor 500 provides abrasion resistance and mechanical strength in use with many chemicals & solvents. With its low extractable levels, Altafluor 500 is used in ultra pure water systems and is suitable for use with conventional fittings. Its features include 100% virgin grade Kynar® PVDF, abrasion resistance, low permeability, chemical and UV resistance. Altafluor 100® PTFE has the broadest temperature range of any fluoropolymer and can resist corrosive liquids & gases even at elevated temperatures. The smooth surface finish and the lowest coefficient of friction & lubricity make it ideal for bushing or bearing applications. It is compatible with most standard fittings. Altafluor 100® features 100% virgin grade PTFE resins, flexible fluoropolymer, is chemically inert & resistant to nearly all industrial chemicals & solvents, has smooth non-stick surface finish, is non-flammable, non-toxic and is suitable for use with conventional fittings. Altafluor 200® FEP is ideal for sight glass/flow monitoring applications. The UV transmission rate of FEP makes it a clear choice for UV water purification systems. The Altafluor 200 tubing may be used with flare or conventional fittings. These tubings are applied in chemical process, laboratory applications, medical devices, UV water purification systems, ground water monitoring, food processing, electrical insulation and in automotive industry.
