Aluminium Holding Furnace

Description: Aluminium Holding Furnace implements the thermos technique wherein the heat losses are minimized to extreme extent. The power required is drastically reduced from 24 kW to 3 kW for a capacity of 300 kg. A specially designed non-wetting type insulation tub is used for holding of molten metal, with in-built three chambers like pouring, holding, and scooping. The specially-designed online replicable heaters ensure zero production loss. A dip type thermocouple continuously indicates molten metal temperature, giving better efficiency of furnace and product. A molten metal level indicator ensures the quantity of molten metal inside the furnace. A separate thyristor controlled control panel controls all the operations of the furnace, thereby ensuring better performance. An imported non- wetting molten metal holding tub ensures trouble free performance, eliminating shut down time, production loss, and thereby ensuring better efficiency. A pneumatic operated ceramic fibre insulated door on the holding chamber ensures no heat loss from the topside. It is provided with two manual ceramic fibre insulatation, lifting doors on pouring and scooping chambers that saves heat losses. It is equipped with specially designed low kW heaters save a lot energy compared to regular technology high kW heaters. Some of the models are: AFECO-EL-300, AFECO-EL-500, AFECO-EL-800 AFECO-EL-1000 with capacity 300, 500, 800, and 1000 kg respectively.
