Profile: American Auto-Matrix develops and manufactures a complete family of microprocessor-based, applied & networkable controllers. Our products are used in a broad range of applications including facilities management, building automation, temperature control, direct digital control (DDC), process control, and integrated fire, security & life safety management. Direct digital control (DDC) offers precise control available for HVAC and automation equipment requiring closed-loop control. DDC is performed by a digital processor which establishes a control signal based on computation instead of mechanical effect. Our DDC can maintain building temperatures within very tight tolerances, typically a fraction of a degree-precision that mechanical controls cannot provide. As a member of the AspectFT family of products, the matrix area controller is a hardware platform designed to provide flexible area control applications for a building automation system. Through use of our facilitating technology (FT), AspectFT, the matrix area controller can provide traditional control features such as alarming, trending, scheduling, and extensive custom programming. Also included are next-generation features such as the ability to push and pull data with popular networked databases & to serve graphical user interface pages - thus eliminating the need for a dedicated operator workstation or expensive add-on software to view a system.
