Description: Complete solution is offered for leak proof welding of ammunition box. The set-up consists of two seam welders one each for longitudinal welding of body and bottom to body and five projection welders for welding hasp, hinge, lid, handle and retainer. All the seven machines ensure leak proof joints and meet the stringent weld quality norm stipulated by defence. Specially designed fixtures and electrode set-up greatly contribute to the weld quality and make the whole system highly productive. The weld parameters are accurately controlled through Mechelonic Engineers make microprocessor based weld controller. The entire line of these machines can be sequenced and tuned in a continuous production line, to give 105 units or more per hour of acceptable quality ammunition boxes. Adequate interlocks for safe operation and safety features such as thermo switches, water flow switches, air pressure switch, weld parameter monitoring are incorporated. Surge suppressors, safety fuses, positional sensors, emergency switches are some of the other standard safety features provided.
