Profile: Apex Instruments deals with the seller of equipment for sampling emissions from industrial chimneys and smoke stacks using the US-EPA guidelines. Our product line includes sample recovery & analytical products, mercury sampling solutions, calibration equipments, iso kinetic source sampling equipments, gas sampling and gas analysis equipments. Our glass fibers are the most commonly used filters for particulate sampling. The glass fiber filters are binder free and exhibit at least 99.9% efficiency for 0.3 micron dioctyl phthalate (DOP) smoke particles. We offer two different brands WHATMANN™ 934AH and a less expensive Grade E equivalent from TREMONT™. There maximum temperature is 500°C (900°F). Our apex XC-40 source sampler is a durable, lightweight meter console. It is ideal for method 4, determination of the moisture content of stack gas. It contains a dry gas meter, rotameter, fine and coarse flow controls up to 6 Type-K thermocouple inputs. It is featured with a digital thermometer readout, vacuum gauge, and digital timer and all mounted in a lightweight molded case. We provides testing consoles, probes, pitots, umbilicals, glassware and filters. Our customizable equipment for isokinetic, gas and particulate sampling is also available.
