Engineered Diffusers are comprised of pseudo-random, micro lens arrays. Each micro lens acts as a scattering center. However, unlike conventional micro lens arrays, each micro lens element is individually designed and controlled, with no underlying repetitive features. The individual design of each micro lens allows for the arbitrary control of the size, shape, and profile of the optical scatter distribution.
