It is an integrated materials management planning system that utilizes the customer's forecast to automate and drive the fulfillment process. By comparing customer demand to our inventory levels, eCOMPASS generates a series of reports that allow the SMR or material planner to work the customer's MRP by exception, allowing more time for proactive planning and pipeline maintenance. The eCOMPASS tool also evaluates the MRP data and feeds the information to our supplier scheduling system, Manugistics. Here, planned orders are automatically generated to our suppliers to ensure pipeline vitality. Additionally, eCOMPASS can include embedded releases. This means that when a demand falls into a specific weekly window (period of time), the demand automatically becomes a firm order when a purchase order number is included in the part information. We provide value added product and manufacturing services to customers. These services include electrical testing, environmental stress screening (ESS), destructive physical analysis (DPA), burn-in, and solderability testing, and are performed to customer specifications. We can ensure that components undergoing tinning are processed in compliance with the requirements, and adhere to the applicable military specifications.
