Automatic Power Factor Improvement Capacitor Panel

Description: Automatic power factor improvement capacitor panels are manufactured by Aswani Engineering. The APFIC panels are indoor type vermin proof, a state-of the-art product with Beluk make microprocessor based powerfactor relays which incorporates the latest international technology in power factor relays. The panel automatically maintains the desired power factor by switching On/Off the desired capacitors. The capacitor selection is done automatic so that all the capacitors are optimally used and no capacitors are switched On/Off more frequently, this increases the life of expensive capacitors. An alarm is also provided which switches On when PF is lower than desired ratings. The PF parameters can be controlled by remote control so that the parameters are secure and tamper proof and unauthorised variations cannot be done. The APFIC panel is custom built as per customer specifications, powder coated and top of the line contractors for switching are used - Siemens and Schneider. The APFIC panel uses various rating of capacitors from 5 to 25 kVAR and capacitor in banks. In electrical systems with harmonics disturbances, special filters can be designed and supplied with APFIC panels.
