The larger power lasers can cut thicker nonmetal materials including acrylic and wood. The enclosure offers operator safety and also easy removal of smoke & fumes by the exhaust blower. Our full-service in-house laser laboratory can laser process the samples to demonstrate laser capability. Open table laser machines provide easy access for material loading and unloading. These laser machines are larger than the enclosed laser machines. BL-C-4896-400 is a high accuracy rigid CNC laser machine equipped with 400 Watt metal tube CO₂ laser. The BL-C-4896-400 is a precision laser cutting machine equipped with a ball-screw, servo motor drive for high accuracy. The ball-screw provides significantly improved accuracy over belt drives. And, the servo motor is a closed loop feedback system, so the position is always known and corrected as needed by the advanced computer controls. The rugged welded steel frame provides stability and rigidity to ensure minimal vibration during laser processing, resulting in cleaner more accurate cuts. The downdraft exhaust pulls smoke and fumes downward & away from the laser processed materials, leaving a better laser processed part. The metal tube 400 Watt laser can process thick acrylics, thin acrylics, and sheet metals & has a laser lifetime of over 40000 hours.
