Profile: Bestech Systems is an engineering software company providing software, training and consultancy services to the civil engineering industry. Our product Sam, is a fully integrated software used for the design of bridges. This bridge design software integrates code checking with analysis. It uses graphical tools to define all the structural elements such as beams and sections. The loading effects are easily transferred from the analysis modules to the code-checking modules, which handle AASHTO LRFD. The code checking within Sam is for complete girders and general sections that include abutments, columns, piers, and piles. The current beam modules are available for precast girders and steel composite girders.
