Profile: Bishop Haigh Technology offers electronic de-scalers. Our Eddy® uses electromagnetic waves to reduce the effects of the calcium, magnesium and manganese salts in hard water. It is an ecofriendly alternative to conventional salt-based water softeners. Two common types of hardness in water are temporary hardness, and permanent hardness. It is impossible to remove the permanent hardness of water by boiling. Our water de-scaler uses two coils to increase the time for which the water is exposed to the magnetic waveform.
