Profile: Blacknor Technology Ltd. is a system integration service provider. We specialize in the design, development and installation of systems for both military and commercial applications. We are also engaged in providing repair and maintenance services for ship borne communications equipment and submarine instrumentation systems. We focus on disciplines like project and integrated systems management, systems design, procurement, data base design and systems design. Our tide and wave height sensor is used in off-shore and coastal marine environments. We supply it with a digital output, allowing easy interfacing with computer systems. We avail two versions of it, namely a standard unit and a hazardous zone 1 unit. For normal operations, the tide and wave height sensor is mounted above the sea surface on a fixed platform. The unit is positioned pointing down towards the water surface. The sensor measures the distance between itself and the water surface to provide tide and wave height data.
