Profile: Blair Fuehrer, Inc. specializes in the I. M. BarteltO type of horizontal form, fill and seal machine. We use a touch screen because it has many useful functions. It provides the means to change limits and fine tune even while the packager is operating. The touch screen is a compact operator interface linked to the local machine, as well as an entire factory network. The operator can monitor the machine status and product data, then pass that data to the central network. We use drive inverters because of the slow start capabilities and the ability to easily change the speed of the packager while online with a touch of a button on the touch screen. An automatic unwind and edge alignment are included in our optional selections. Stand up and reclosable pouches are also included as options. We provide thorough documentation with our packagers including full CAD paper and digitized electrical schematics, operational manuals and a spare parts list.
