Profile: Block Engineering develops and manufactures state-of-the-art Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) field rated spectrometers, which are used for the remote and point detection & identification of chemical & biological agents. We serve the needs of the Department of Defense (all services), the intelligence community, NASA, and commercial & industrial customers. Our FTIR spectrometers are used in airborne (pods, UAV's, rotary and fixed wing aircraft), land based, hand held & ground vehicle applications. Our products include Model 100 a remote agent detection system, hi-spec remote biological agent detector, LCAS point detector and detector array products.
