Rolls are skim-cut to specifications or built-up with a weld overlay of carbon or stainless steel weld and then machined to specifications. Bearing journals are repaired and new plugs installed in water-cooled rolls. Rolls and bearings housings are pressure tested at 200-psi and repaired as needed. Bearing housing surfaces are built up with a weld overlay and then machined. All bearing blocks and parts are throughly cleaned in a high-pressure washer, and all bearing housings are painted according to specifications provided by the customer.
