The capacitor discharge stored energy welders are offered by Artech Welders. Advantages: large scale reduction in KVA demand, welding of similar and dissimilar metals is possible, no water cooling required for electrodes, installation and operating cost of the machine is less and the machine can run on Genset. The weld joint is free from blackening and distortion and has no effect of voltage fluctuation on weld quality. The welding of heat sensitive parts is possible and causes minimum heating of components during welding. As there is no heating of electrodes and no water cooling is required, the cost of manufacturing and maintenance of fixtures and electrodes is reduced considerably. All recommended electrode materials are suitable for these welders.
