Cartridge Filters
Cartridge Filters are protected on the inside and outside surface by spot welded perforated/expanded galvanized steel screens. These screens ensure that the media remains in place during the reverse pulse mode of the self-cleaning filter unit. The top and bottom end caps are sealed in position with thermostat plastic. The filtering media consists of pleated & impregnated cellulose base material, which is cured and retained within the inner & outer screens by means of hot melt glue. The construction feature prevents excessive movement of the cellulose fiber during humid conditions and maintains an even pleat spacing, thereby ensuring the most effective usage of the available media surface area. S K Industries produces cartridge filters. In addition, the perforated/expanded screen and end caps components can be supplied in other materials such as epoxy coated steel & stainless steel, for use in excessively corrosive environments and can be supplied as per customer requirements.
