Chip Shredder
Description: Chip Shredder is used for cutting oily, stringy or nested chip balls in small, medium or large size. It can be used online or offline to process steel alloys and nonferrous chips from different machine tool operations. The machine is sturdy and equipped with special steel cutter in block form bolted to the housing onto spindle, making it economical, durable and easy to re-sharpen or replace. The long and curly chips from machining centers are fed into the chip shredder. The cutter arrangement guides the chips to the center, where they are shredded into desired small size. The shredder is supported by DPMT's original control system that automatically detects any foreign object or overloading, abnormality, stopping and reversing of the shredder. The machine stops and generates a signal by blowing buzzer, if there is a repeated reversal operation.
