Description: Closed circuit camera is a miniature PCB camera with video output. The camera is fixed in a place to be monitored and the output is connected to a monitor. A clear image of the area is obtained on the monitor. The camera can be connected to a TV with video input and with a modulator the camera can be connected to a TV without video input and one channel can be tuned to receive the picture. A circuit can also be provided to switch on the camera and monitor for a pre-programmed time when a visitor rings the bell. It is also possible to record the picture on a VCR. The camera can be concealed very easily. It is extremely useful in factories, departmental stores, offices, and bungalows for surveillance application. A number of cameras can also be connected to one TV via a switcher unit. The switcher selects the cameras one by one for a preset time. Any camera can be bypassed as well as locked as per requirement. With a quad switcher at a time 4 cameras can be observed on the screen. The cameras can also operate on battery.
