Description: The Cub and Colt Series machines are ideally suited for small-sized parts. Salient features: Cub - compact foot print; cartridge spindle with maximum speed up to 6000 rpm (opt); 8 station bi-directional tool turret; 20 m/min rapid rates on both axes; rigid bed; lends itself well for cell manufacturing; saddle (Z) with V and flat guide ways; cross slide (X) with dovetail guide ways; and special execution with load/unload system. Salient features: Colt-linear indexing chucker; rigid structure; table mounted gang type tooling; cartridge spindle with speed up to 6000 RPM (optional); 20 m/min rapid rates on both axes; jig plates available as special options; and well suited for cell manufacturing layout. Specifications, Cub/Colt: max. turning diameter - 140 mm/250 mm; maximum turning length - 200/400 mm; chuck size - 135/165 mm; and spindle power (15 min rating) -5.5/5.5 kW. These cub & colt series CNC lathes are the smallest in the range.
