Profile: Cobham PLC is a company engaged in the development, delivery and support of aerospace and defense systems. Our actuation systems and sub-systems can be found on a variety of applications including military and commercial aircraft, helicopters, missiles & pneumatic weapons carriages. These systems are used in a wide range of emergency equipment including emergency inflation valves which are used to inflate emergency flotation devices, such as rafts and emergency evacuation slides on large commercial aircraft and helicopters. They are also used in landing gear blowdown systems to unlock, lower and re-lock the main landing gear structure in the down position, in the event of failure of the main hydraulic extension system. We also manufacture a variety of products ranging from liquid oxygen converters to high pressure reducers to the demand breathing regulators worn by aircrew on their chests, or mounted within panels in the cockpit. We also cater with thermal management systems, propulsion space system, weapons carriage and release system, and pressure technology solutions.
