We supply packed bitumen products, quarry binders, surface dressing binders, bond coats, and coated stone. Our Colbond proprietary is a polymer modified bitumen emulsion as specified in BS 434-1:1984 class K1, and complying with SHW clause 920. Our Colbond is designed to use with thin, ultra thin, and porous asphalt overlays. It will not adhere to tracks or tyres. Our Surfix 80S is a warm applied polymer modified bitumen emulsion designed for high speed roads. The adhesion is obtained with damp, uncoated chippings. This binder is tolerant to cool conditions early in the season, particularly when used with Colas' unique rapid breaking system.
