Profile: Complete System Design, Inc. specializes in automated test and assembly systems. Our automated equipment contain airbag, ECM & body electronics modules, clock spring/SAS, force vs travel measurement systems, tire pressure receivers & transmitters and switches. We also provide manufacturing equipment comprising of assembly stations, end of line testers, flash programmers, mobile testers, and robotic equipment. Our clock springs are designed for steering angle sensors. The test capabilities have included motion control using stepper motors with encoder feedback, and monitoring as many as 600 CAN messages per second per station on 20 stations with scalability well beyond. Its clock spring circuits were monitored using high speed A/D converters. Our mobile testers are self contained. These systems range from passive systems with indicators, to active systems which perform complex diagnostic functions. Our systems have varied from manual testing by prompting an operator to activate the product to being fully automated, with the control system performing all of the actions. The automated systems have utilized a PC interface and an embedded controller. Some systems have been as small as only a few inches in size, while others have been larger bench-top systems.
