Storage tanks are general purpose industrial containers. Storage tanks can have many configurations depending upon dimensions, orientation, placement and wall configuration. Conical bottom bulk storage tanks will have a funnel shaped conical bottom with 30° or 45° slope conical to provide quick and complete drainage of the liquid stored in the tank. The materials of construction of these tanks will dictate the application that is suitable for the tank. These tanks are used in a number of applications including short term storage, long term storage, mixing, blending, metering and dispensing. These tanks are made up of polyethylene which has more resistance to corrosion and chemicals than fiberglass, stainless or mild steel. This polyethylene material is light weight, requires low maintenance and also has excellent low temperature impact resistance.
