Description: A converter type TIV2-D with new digital technology, can be used for all industrial techniques such as: melting; hardening; soldering; and tempering. This new converter technology is convincing due to the following criteria: increased range of power, from 10 kW to 250 kW, designed as standard version; increased range of performance, from 0.5 to 1.5 of the nominal frequency, designed for types 0.5 - 1.2 x Fn; Cos Phi close to 1 on mains, also in load range sections; standard nominal frequencies 3 kHz/ 10 kHz/20 kHz; in the range between 10 kW and 100 kW, a solid type of construction with the dimensions 600 x 1,000 x 1,000 mm (breadth x depth x height) is possible. Conveyor rollers needed for a mobile version are available without any extra charge; all-digit converter control device as a central component, inverter unit controlled by processor disposing of a highly integrated, programmable, digital processing unit, all in one casing; visualisation and indication of operational data via a double-spaced ZVE display showing messages in plain text. If necessary, it is possible to couple this control device with the S7 types. Operation will, in this case, be effected via on OPT Advantages of the ZVE control system: one uniform controlling component for all kinds of frequency and power; parameterization completely effected by software via a RS 232 interface, i.e. convenient filing of data - no more data handling.
