Profile: Corrosion Service Company Europe Limited is an asset integrity engineering firm supplying cathodic protection, anodic protection, potential adjusted protection and remote monitoring systems. We provide remote monitoring systems to the corrosion prevention industry. Our remote monitoring products provide features specific to the management and operation of corrosion prevention systems. The ACB2 product series feature a number of function specific devices used as building blocks to construct a complete monitoring system for any application. From a single TR to several hundred TR's distributed throughout a plant, the ACB2 series can manage data logging, TR control, simultaneous instant-off potential measurement, and automatic depolarizations. Our RMS software is developed to operate the ACB2 product series hardware, and is tailored to the operation and management of cathodic protection systems including tabular & graphical data display, control of TR outputs, alarming & depolarization testing, all from a single PC located within the plant. The carbon steel continuous digesters experience both general corrosion and stress corrosion cracking in caustic environments. The corrosion rate of the immersed surface of steel digester in contact with hot caustic liquor may be characterized by the electrochemical potential of digester which varies throughout an operating digester. It is generally within the active corrosion and/or cracking range.
