Description: Cover sealing and terminal filling machine has PLC controlled two-component meter mix dispensing for industrial batteries. The cover sealing machine comprises of stainless steel containers, precision metering system with positive displacement piston pumps and either static or dynamic homogeneous mixing module. The epoxy resin and hardener in metered quantity enter the mixer to get homogeneously mixed and the mixed compound is dispensed for sealing application. The motorised agitator can be provided if the material characteristics call for the same. The two axes X & Y robotic system is integrated to the basic epoxy machine for sealing a variety of covers for batteries. The dispensing gun is mounted on the robotic arm to facilitate the dispensing. The user-friendly handheld teaching pendant takes care of the profiles to be programmed. The main features of the system include precise metering of two components, de-gassing facility for part A & B (optional), vacuum-based material transfer system, antidrip valve to avoid dripping at the end of mixer outlet, digital setting of mixed material quantity (helps avoid manual settings and adjustments), homogeneous mixing, optimisation of space, manpower and adhesive consumption utility, and cleanliness as direct material contact is avoided.
