Curomatic Curing/Re-Flow Machine is provided with edge type width adjustable variable speed conveyor, driven by variable speed AC motor with vector speed control drive. Built from in-house design, this machine is meant to carry out curing/re-flow of printed circuit boards, solder reflow, drying, glue curing, and preheating. They are built around rugged tubular/extruded frame. The sheet metal paneling and hood are specially treated and sprayed with high temperature corrosion resistant paint. Power is transferred to the conveyor by a gear, SS chains and sprocket arrangement. The machine has state-of-the-art convection and long wave heat source, with fast response to perform drying of epoxy, soldering of surface mounted devices and a variety of applications requiring non-contact heating. Heaters supported by SS reflective cover and insulated with ceramic wool, having low thermal conductivity & resistance to high temperature are used. The inner surface of the machine is insulated with aluminum foils and ceramic boards. The heating process is complimented by a unique method of circulating the hot air with in the system. This arrangement provides a forced convection factor that reduces shadowing and hot spots. PLC based controls with PID temperature controller modules and touch screen display are provided as a standard feature. Machines are available in 3, 5 and 6 zones as per customer requirements.
