Description: Cycloidal drives are compact and sturdy in construction, with very high reduction ratios, efficiency, life and overload capacity. It consists of a cycloidal disc, driven by an eccentric which rolls around inside housing rollers. The disc thus rotates with reduced speed in the opposite direction to the eccentric and giving 100% positive transmission with a high efficiency. The use of roller bearings guarantees pure rolling transmission without significant friction losses. Thus cycloidal reducers produce efficiency above of 92% in single stage.
