We deal with traditional single echo technology that measures the time taken for a single backwall echo to pass through the material under test as well as the surface coating, giving an apparent material thickness measurement. The ULD 1 ultrasonic leak detector is used to detect ultrasound which is created by gas, vapour or liquid escaping through cracks or openings in systems which are under pressure or vacuum. Machinery wear is also detected using the stethoscope module.
