Built in response to customer needs for basic operation and low cost, this AC variable speed drive is typically used for conveyors, pumps, fans, and mixers. Its compact design is available in three frame sizes ranging from 1/3 HP to 5HP. Input voltages are available in 230 VAC and 460 VAC. The Commander SL is equipped with a bright LED display with five operator buttons that are easy to program and use. The parameters can be set and locked for read only access. This drive also possesses DC injection braking capabilities. Our RV-E standard inline cycloidal gear reducer RV-E series gear head is a high-precision gear head providing extreme precision and high performance in a very compact, ready-to-mount package. This series features a wide range of ratios (up to 185:1 by changing the first stage gear combination) and high torsional rigidity. Vibrations are minimized by the patented two stage cycloidal reduction mechanism, prolonging equipment life. The gear teeth are in continuous contact with the cycloidal pin, resulting in a gearhead with very low backlash (less than 1 arc-min), low wear.
