Profile: Del Mar Industries, Inc. provides casting and plating services. We have 42 die casting machines producing components in zinc, ZA, aluminum and magnesium alloys. Our machines running zinc, ZA8 and magnesium are hot chamber, while aluminum, ZA-12 and ZA-27 are run in cold chamber machines only and the tonnage sizes range from 50 ton machines to 700 ton cold chamber machines. We have robotic extractors, automated ladlers, closed loop shot monitoring and centralized die lube. We have tooling, tapping of internal threads or removing draft angles on tightly toleranced bores, which are the secondary machining requirements and is done by multi-axis CNC machining centers & conventional machining work. We have die cast finishing capabilities, with decorative finishes such as bright brass, polished chrome, black nickel and varieties of paint & powdercoat applications.
