Dense Phase Pneumatic Transport is an attractive means of conveying solids. Dense phase pneumatic transport is characterized by the flowing of the solids in a high bulk density mixture such that the particles are conveyed by the pushing action of the particles against each other. Dense phase pneumatic transport requires less transport air reducing spouting and elutriation at the point of injection within the bed.
