Profile: Detectortesters is a manufacturer of professional detector testing equipment. We offer cordless and cabled heat detector testers. They are available either as separate test products, or within a multi-stimulus tester, and are designed for use at low level, or at a height, on solo telescopic access poles. We offer CO fire detector testing using aerosol-based products, or the advanced CO generation technology within Testifire. It is designed for use with the solo aerosol dispenser, or by direct injection to compatible detectors that include enhanced test algorithms. The Testifire is a multi-stimulus detector tester for smoke, heat, and/CO fire detectors, enabling faster and more efficient testing of both single and multi-sensor detectors. The production of different stimuli is achieved sequentially or simultaneously. We provide solutions for testing aspirating smoke detector(ASD) systems. Our Scorpion is an unique test addition for ASD systems whose permanently-sited micro smoke generator delivers a stable, pure, long lifetime particulate under microprocessor control. The unit also records transport times to enable calibration and pipe integrity test assessments. The Scorpion can be fitted between a point smoke detector and the ceiling, or adjacent to the point smoke detector on the ceiling.
