Our bi metal band saw blades are designed to cut a wide variety of materials including carbon, tool, structural, stainless, pipes & tubes and die steels. Our carbon hardback band saw blades are alternative bandsaw blades on easy to cut material. The carbon hardback band saw blades run at a high speed, cutting non-ferrous metal, and wood. These band saw blades are one step up from a Flexback® carbon saw blade, with the difference being that not only are the saw teeth heat-treated, but the back of the saw blade is also heat treated. It allows the band saw user to run the welded-to-length saw blade at higher cutting rates and increased feed rates. The heat treated backer material helps the band saw blade cut straighter, because it has a higher tensile strength.
