Profile: Diafront Diamond Products Co., Ltd. is involved in developing & manufacturing quality PDC cutters for oil drilling and coal mining. PDC (Polycrystalline Diamond Compact) cutter is made from superhard material that compacts polycrystalline diamond with tungsten carbide substrate at ultra-high temperature and pressure. PDC cutters are made from tungsten carbide substrate & synthetic diamond grit. They are made using a combination of high temperature & high pressure with a catalyst of cobalt alloy to help bond diamond and carbide during the sintering process. During the cooling process, the tungsten carbide shrinks at a rate 2.5 times faster than the diamond, which combines diamond & tungsten carbide together, and thereafter forms a PDC cutter.
