Profile: Digital Lift Controls Ltd. is a manufacturer of lift control systems. We are an ISO 9001 certified company. Our product range started with indicators and speech products, and has expanded to include load weighing units, power supplies, hand winding units, shaft positioning units, LCD indicators, and multi-car group lift control systems. Our Efinity lift control system contains powerful micro processors with the capability of processing 40 million instructions per second. We also incorporate a USB computer interface and network connectivity. It is a serial based call control unit utilizing a CAN-based communication system. The Vacon drive is our standard drive system and is used up to 1.6m/s. Our preferred drive for use with DC motors are the Magnetek DSD412 DCSCR drive. This drive utilizes digital technology to give a smooth controlled ride. Our new encoder system is developed to replace the tape head system on low and higher speed lifts, and utilizes an absolute encoder to determine where the lift is to the nearest 0.5 mm. The system utilizes a toothed belt, specially developed for fixing on the car or within the shaft, and covered with a special coating to ensure its quiet operation. We offer Omega 4 range of LCD indicators which utilizes the latest 16 bit DSP based microprocessor technology. Our speech unit is designed to be used for up to 8 floors, and can broadcast 5 different control messages.
