Digital Torque Wrench With Rotary LCD
The digital torque wrench with a rotary LCD is offered by Griphold Tools. It is the highest accuracy torque wrench available and can calibrate up to 0.5%. The non-length dependent design means that the wrench remains accurate, no matter where the force is applied. The patented rotary display lets the user read the LCD at any angle and from any side. Features include: three units of measure in ft.lb, in.lb and Nm. It is available in two modes of operation like track and peak hold. The super fast 2500 samples per second means that the wrench can be pulled as fast as the user wants and still retains accuracy. It has a quick target torque setting for Pass/Fail prompting, where the target torque pass/fail zone can be set from ±1 % to ±10% of target torque value. When the torque reached by the wrench is under the target zone, a yellow light is shown. When the torque reached by the wrench is within the target zone, a green light is shown and a buzzer (Pass) sound is heard. When the torque reached by the wrench is over the target zone, a red light is shown with an intermittent buzzer. The target torque is quickly set with one button and runs on standard 9 V battery up to 50 hours operation. It has a software contrast control for all temperature conditions. The 2000 ft.lb. version comes with t-bar extensions and can be used as a torque multiplier tester/input device. The RS232 and 9V internal Ninth charging circuit with 230V power adapter combined options add -P to part number. The optional accessories include a DB9 connector and a cable. All the wrenches are supplied in a blow moulded plastic box except the 2000 ft.lb wrench. The wrenches are supplied with NIST traceable calibration certification to 1% IV but can also be calibrated to 0.5% IV. The -P models are supplied with an RS232 output and a 230 V transformer.
